Nessmuk Knife Review - Page 4
by Rob Schwiesow
Overall, the knife was a pleasure to use. The handle was very comfortable. The knife had a very solid heft to it, but was not overly large or cumbersome. The thick spine, but thin edge gave the best of both worlds in blade performance. The fit and finish were top notch. My only gripe, oddly enough, was that I did not enjoy the sheath it came with at all. The sheath was optional, however, and is not made by Koster. Paired with a
Swiss Army knife and a saw/axe, I think you have everything you would need in the woods. I can’t recommend the
Koster Nessmuk enough. It has quickly become my first choice for a do-it-all woods knife.
