August 19 - 21, 2011 - "Growing the Past" Wilderness Skills Weekend
Registration Form
Printable Info Flyer
This is a chance to learn new wilderness and primitive skills, as well as practice those you already possess. A variety of instructors will be available to teach classes such as Basic Firearms, Cordage, Soap Making, Edible and Other Plants, Primitive Fishing, Outdoors Cooking, Rawhide and Leather, Fire Making, Bark Containers, Basic Forging, Black Powder skills, and others! There will be three sessions of classes a day.
This is a camping weekend. We provide a nice area with woods, a lake, trails, and fields. We also provide firewood, water and an evening meal on Friday and Saturday. Participants need to provide their own meals the rest of the time, and a grocery store and restaurants are conveniently near by. Also, we will be having a potluck supper on Sunday, so think about an item to pass!
RSVP on Facebook and then send in your registration form to reserve your spot!
